Well, it’s not quite as simple as stating “cake on a stick”. The best way to describe these sweet treats is to explain how they are made:
Step 1 Bake a cake.
Step 2 Destroy the cake until it’s been reduced to a pile of fine crumbs (so fun!).
Step 3 Add icing to the crumbs and mix until you have a clay-like (play doh!) consistency. Just firm enough to roll a ball.
Step 4 Add a stick and dunk in chocolate.
Voila! A classic cake pop.
